It looks okay for a universal-fit part but I haven't had to use it yet b/c the one on my vehicle is still hanging in there. I bought this for my 1991 Grand Marquis b/c you can't get hold of very many original accessory parts, like this, unless you try salvage yards and I had no luck in NJ.
