Dodge is going for the title of being the world’s “most powerful and fastest mass-produced car” with the release of the new Charger for the 2020 model year. The car is equipped with the SRT Hellcat that can hit 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.<\/p>\n

With its Widebody styling that now comes as a standard, the 2020 Charger looks like a twin of the Widebody trim of the Dodge Challenger that was released in 2017. Both models also share the same 707 horsepower V-8 engine, which Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is banking on amid the battle of muscle cars in the market.<\/p>\n

Aside from its 6.2-liter V-8 engine and 707 horsepower, the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody also boasts 650 lb-ft of torque and an eight-speed automatic transmission, which, according to Dodge, improves the Charger’s performance and fuel economy.<\/p>\n

The Charger Widebody comes with wheels that are 3.5-inches bigger than those of the original Hellcat and has ample room for 20×11-inch Pirelli P Zero tires that allow better pavement grip under hard acceleration. According to the brand, these upgrades make the sedan stickier and quicker on the road.<\/p>\n

Stiffer springs, larger anti-sway bars, improved shock absorbers, and top-quality Brembo brakes are included in the upgraded Dodge Charger, while four additional technologies, particularly the Launch Control and Line Lock, make it more efficient for owners’ use.<\/p>\n
