Ford<\/a> recently announced the upcoming release of its Tremor Off-Road Package for the brand’s 2020 F-Series Super Duty trucks. The package will be offered on the upcoming versions of the F-250 and F-350 trucks for the next model year, particularly the XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum trim levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But in a much recent development, the automaker is rumored to also be looking at the possibility of offering the same package for its F-150 trucks. It all started when a shorter unidentified Ford truck sporting a Tremor was spotted driving with F-150 Raptors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the company has not yet confirmed anything, it does make sense for Ford to give the F-150 a Tremor Package as well. The inclusion of 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires, a two-inch suspension lift, a Dana limited-slip differential, running boards, and skid plates are all very likely to happen to one of Ford’s most popular models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the release of an F-150 Tremor, consumers will get the same off-road capabilities in a light duty or half-ton truck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, if the brand does release an F-150 Tremor in the future, there is a high chance that it would compete with its sibling – the F-150 Raptor. If the Tremor allows the trucks to navigate rough roads, the Raptor version specializes in traversing desert-like paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The automaker is believed to be testing F-150 mules, but it’s still awaiting results on how the market will welcome the upcoming Tremor package in the brand’s Super Duty trucks. Should the Tremor package be confirmed for the F-150<\/a>, though, it likely won’t be introduced until the next generation of the model comes out in two to three years. It is also expected be positioned between the lighter FX4 and the full-size off-roader Raptor.
