Last month, a LinkedIn update from an unnamed Ford<\/a> engineer fanned the flames of the possible arrival of a new Bronco Raptor when the said employee claimed to be working on the model. Ford did not respond to the reports at the time and made no confirmation of any sort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It left people with nothing to hold onto with regard to the potentially huge release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But now, as the website shared some details about the vehicle, Ford Authority may have provided what could very well be the kind of assurance interested buyers are waiting for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to an article shared by the publication, the Bronco Raptor will be offered with two- and four-door configurations. It will also have an updated front fascia to make it stand out from the standard Bronco. These updates include a unique bumper, higher ground clearance, as well as a wider body. Plus, there will be larger fenders that will house the same wheels used on the F-150 Raptor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other features include a single-exit, dual-tip exhaust placed on the rear end of the Bronco Raptor, a new bumper, as well as unique headlights and taillights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bronco Raptor is not likely to arrive until 2023, but a potential prototype of the vehicle was recently captured in spy shots. The photos were shared by the Bronco6G forum, giving people a peek on what could be in store for the model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the prototype is heavily covered in camouflage, the wide wheel arches and high ground clearance are clearly seen. There is also a set of BF Goodrick AT All-Terrain T\/A tires around the 17-inch wheels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make the Bronco Raptor more off-road-ready, it is expected to have a chassis and suspension that’s upgraded than the current Bronco Wildtrak’s. The Bronco Raptor will likely be powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that makes 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, the same engine that powers the ExplorerST and Lincoln Aviator
