It was not only the upcoming electric Hummer SUV and the company’s accelerated EV timeline that were in the spotlight during a recent video conference General Motors had with its investors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A previously unseen electric pickup also drew the attention of the participants in the conference, especially after it was shown on-screen, right behind the company’s Chief EV Officer Travis Hester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vehicle—a Chevrolet<\/a>—had been the subject of talks in the past, particularly when the automaker announced that a new electric pickup will be one of the models entering production in 2025. However, following the sneak peek at the recent conference, it appears there have been changes in the timetable. It is now highly likely for the pickup to join the GM lineup sooner than originally planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on the image, the EV has some features similar to the Corvette, especially the headlights and the front fascia. It also comes with an angled cutline that starts from the cab and runs all the way to the bed, reminiscent of the Hummer EV and the now-discontinued Chevrolet Avalanche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of overall styling, the vehicle boasts of an aggressive appeal, thanks to the flared fenders and sharp lines running along both its sides. These design features, however, can still change, given that the model is not yet the production version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s certain so far is that it will carry a Chevrolet branding and be an electric pickup that is part of GM’s wide-scale electrification project for the next few years.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
