Nissan<\/a> may have been out of the limelight in the last couple of years, but it is making up for lost time with the arrival of several new models in the United States. For one, it recently unveiled the Rogue and a Nissan Z prototype was also spotted in the streets. Now, the automaker is preparing for the official launch of yet another fresh addition to its lineup—the Nissan Kicks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arriving as a 2021 model, the subcompact crossover will be Nissan’s replacement for the Juke, which is no longer being sold in America. It’s a milder version of the model that comes with the classic Nissan face, angular headlights, and a bigger grille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other than the external features, however, nothing much is known about the upcoming vehicle. What the public knows at the moment is that it resembles the global Kicks model introduced in Asia earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Asian-spec Nissan Kicks was also built with the automaker’s e-power system, which means it combines a gasoline engine, a power generator, an inverter lithium-ion battery as well as an electric motor. But this setup is likely not going to be adopted to the US version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
