The Hyundai Santa Fe<\/a> is getting upgrades for the 2021 model year, including new engine options, for an increase of up to $725 on its starting price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the front-wheel-drive version of its base SE model, the starting price is going up by $575 and will now be at $28,025 from last year’s $27,450. The all-wheel-drive setup, on the other hand, will cost an additional $1,700. In place of the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine will be a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that delivers up to 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. It is the only powertrain option for the SE, as well as the SEL variant, which is now up by $625 at $29,825.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arriving for the higher trim levels is a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder option that offers 277 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. It will replace the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and will be available on the Limited and Calligraphy models, either with an FWD or AWD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the previous model year, the Limited was the highest Santa Fe trim level. But for 2021, Hyundai is introducing the Calligraphy variant as the new range-topper. The Limited variant will get a price increase of $725, resulting in a $39,775 price tag, while the Calligraphy will retail for $43,275.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also joining the 2021 Santa Fe lineup are hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains. Hyundai, however, has yet to reveal the final pricing for these options expected to arrive later in 2021.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
