Everyone knows by now that Jeep<\/a> is ushering in new changes in its lineup. One of these is prepping the Wrangler 4xe Hybrid for debut for the 2021 model year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The model is the very first Wrangler to feature a plug-in hybrid drivetrain powered by a 17-kWh battery pack that provides up to 25 miles of electric-only range. It will also come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors, combining over 400 miles of total range with 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By these numbers alone, it is touted as the most powerful Wrangler variant in the lineup until the Hemi-equipped Rubicon 392 model becomes available. And as the figures reveal, the automaker’s earlier estimates of 350 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque were very conservative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
