The all-new Mitsubishi Outlander<\/a> just arrived for the 2022 model year and it’s looking aggressively better and more premium than its predecessor both inside and out. It’s also the first model to come out of the highly publicized Mitsubishi-Nissan alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The revamped Outlander shares the same platform and engine as the Nissan Rogue. But that’s where the similarities end: Mitsubishi’s compact SUV features a unique exterior accentuated by a domineering front end, a prominent grille, an overload of chrome trimmings, and an unique lighting arrangement that comes with daytime running lights, headlights, and fog lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its also larger than its predecessor and features a third row of seats, allowing more space for as many as seven passengers. It directly competes with the Volkswagen Tiguan, which is the only other model in the segment that offers the same amount of space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
