The highly anticipated return of the Expedition trim is reportedly in the works, according to a recent announcement from Ford.<\/p>\n

The current generation of the Ford Expedition is offered with a four-wheel drive option, two body-style lengths, and three trim levels, but only has one engine and one transmission available for consumers.<\/p>\n

But it appears that the King Ranch trim is preparing for its long-awaited return in the lineup.<\/p>\n

The King Ranch trim was previously offered by Ford on both the F-150 and F-Series Super Duty trucks, as well as the previous generation of the Expedition. Unfortunately, the brand dropped the trim from the Expedition marque in 2017 when it was preparing for the release of the Texas Edition.<\/p>\n

For the following year, however, Ford will once again offer the King Ranch on its new Expedition SUVs. The trim will come with rugged and luxurious features with upgraded interiors and Del Rio leather upholstery. The SUV will also get a gray exterior trim, two-tone 22-inch wheels, power running boards, roof rails, and unique badges.<\/p>\n

The 2020 Ford Expedition King Ranch will be positioned between the Expedition Limited and Expedition Platinum trims. It will also have a similar equipment level as the Expedition Limited as well as an optional Equipment Group 302A which includes LED lighting and panoramic roof. Ford’s driver- assistance system in the Co-Pilot 360 suite will also be available.<\/p>\n

The new Expedition King Ranch is expected to be offered with a starting price of $74,290 with an additional $2,000 for the extended Max version. It’s significantly more expensive than the $52,000 tag price for the base trim Expedition XLT and is around the same price range as the Lincoln Navigator.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
