After a successful year in 2018 and the launch of two new models this year, Dodge<\/a> is trying to maintain momentum by giving the Challenger a bunch of premium upgrades for the 2020 model
year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The automaker will not be making any changes to the lineup unlike the upcoming 2020 Dodge Journey. Instead, the next-generation Dodge Challenger and Challenger SRT will be given several updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First among the upgrades are the addition of nine new wheels and finishes available across the whole range. The SXT and GT all-wheel-drive models will now have 19-inch Satin Carbon wheels as standard, while Black Noise wheels will be offered as an option. The Black Noise wheels are also included in the Blacktop Package. The GT rear-wheel-drive, on the other hand, will have standard 20-inch Satin Carbon wheels that are also included in the Plus Group, while Lights Out wheels that also come with the Performance Handling Group, will be optional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the R\/T variant, 20-inch Satin Carbon wheels will be made standard, as well as polished Tinted Clear wheels (included with Plus Group) and Lights Out wheels (T\/A Package and Performance Handling Group). The R\/T Scat Pack will come with 20-inch Low Gloss Granite wheels, while the R\/T Scat Pack Widebody will include 20 x 11-inch Low Gloss Black wheels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The same 20 x 11-inch Low Gloss Black wheels will be available as the new standard for the SRT Hellcat Widebody and SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody trims. Meanwhile, the Low Gloss Granite “Warpspeed” wheels is optional. For the non-Widebody variants of the SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Redeye, an optional 20-inch Machined wheels with Granite pockets will also be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also included in the upgrades are new HEMI fender badges for the R\/T models and a Scat Pack Bee spoiler badge on the R\/T Scat Pack. Three new paint options will be offered, namely Frostbite, Hellraisin, and Sinamon Stick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interiors are also getting a facelift with an all-new premium-stitched leather on the dash and upper door panels, as well as optional carbon-fiber bezels that come with a Dynamica suede headliner for the V8 models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the engine<\/a> options, Dodge is not making changes from what has been offered in the previous year. The SXT, SXT AWD, GT, and GT AWD will still be powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with 306 horsepower, while the R\/T models will be equipped with the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 that makes up to 375 horsepower. The R\/T Scat Pack and Scat Pack Widebody will get the naturally aspirated 392 HEMI V8 with 485 horsepower, while the SRT Hellcat and the SRT Hellcat Redeye will run on a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 with an output of 717 and 797 horsepower, respectively.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
