In a rare public sighting ahead of its release, Ford’s highly anticipated “Baby Bronco” SUV was spotted showing its sheetmetal rear-end.<\/span><\/p>\n

The upcoming model has been making waves in the industry since the first time Ford announced it is building a crossover inspired by the iconic Bronco 4×4, which also explains the unofficial nickname.<\/span><\/p>\n

While not much is known about the smaller SUV, photographers caught a glimpse of a production version of the vehicle where its rear-end was fully exposed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Merging the recent photos and previously leaked snaps of the model, it can be surmised that the vehicle has a boxy styling as shown by its squared-off roofline, rear haunches, and tailgate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although the Baby Bronco is being built on the same platform as the 2020 Escape, the mini Bronco has more of a truck-like silhouette compared to the Escape that resembles a car. It is also likely to offer an all-wheel-drive setup to give the model off-road capabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite all the noise surrounding the Baby Bronco, however, Ford remains tight-lipped as to when the model will make an official debut. More so, the company has not confirmed the nameplate it will use for the model. Numerous names have sprouted as potential monikers for the upcoming vehicle such as the Adventurer, Bronco Sport, and Bronco Scout, but the automaker refuses to yield any information.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the meantime, interest is also being redirected to the also-in-development Bronco Lite, a body-on-frame Bronco scheduled to arrive ahead of its SUV cousin in 2020. It will be part of Ford’s lineup as a 2021 model for which the company is expected to release more details within the next few months.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
