In recent weeks, almost every automaker in the United States has announced a price increase each time it releases a 2020 model year version of current vehicles. It’s not entirely surprising, although consumers would surely prefer not having to deal with higher rates, if possible.<\/p>\n

But swimming against the tide is the 2020 Honda Accord Hybrid, which has remained frugal with a price bump of only $150.<\/p>\n

The hybrid car will retain its 48-mpg combined rating for the coming model year and includes a wide array of features across all trim levels. It will also be partly powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four engine that makes 212 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque.<\/p>\n

According to official pricing recently released by Honda, the reliable sedan’s 2020 price tag only went up by $150, including the premium trim Accord Hybrid Touring whose non-hybrid version increased by at least $1,110. The highest price bump given to a model in the Accord Hybrid lineup is $350.<\/p>\n

For the 2020 model year, the entry-level Accord Hybrid has a starting price of $26,400. A basic package includes push-button start, dual-zone climate control, and active-safety features.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the EX trim now costs $30,300, the EX-L trim $32,800, and the Touring trim $36,700—all inclusive of the $930 destination charge. Among the trim levels in the Accord Hybrid lineup, the EX variant is the most tech-savvy with its 8-inch touchscreen unit that also comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.<\/p>\n

Interested buyers would also be thrilled to know that the hybrid sedans are now equipped with a federally mandated alert noise that goes off when the car runs exclusively on electric power at low speeds.<\/p>\n
