Shortly after Ram announced its plans to release Built to Serve edition trucks to honor the United States military, Jeep shared it is resurrecting the military-themed Freedom special edition for the 2020 Wrangler. The upcoming Freedom variant joins two other limited-edition models in the Wrangler lineup: the Willys and the Black and Tan models.<\/span><\/p>\n

Based on the next level atop the base, Sport S trim, the Wrangler Freedom is offered in two-door and four-door body styles. It also comes with special graphics, including a large star on the hood, American flags on the front fenders, as well as an “Oscar Mike” (military lingo for “on the move”) on the tailgate and stitched on the seatbacks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other features include cloth seats with silver contrast stitching and leather accents, gray 17-inch wheels, a premium Sunrider soft top, and an aluminum data plate inside the tailgate, which serves as a reference to the original Jeep’s military history.<\/span><\/p>\n

Along with the announcement of the Wrangler Freedom’s return on the U.S. market, Jeep also released the official pricing for the SUV. Its two-door variant has a starting price of $34,190, while the four-door type retails at $37,690, both exclusive of the $1,495 destination charge.
