Chevrolet revealed its long-awaited full-size SUV for the 2021 model year–the all-new Tahoe. Advertised as the larger sibling of the Suburban, the Tahoe is armed with new features that target consumers in an otherwise very conventional segment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Like the Chevy Suburban, the Tahoe is also riding the company’s new vehicle architecture, which is evident in the 2021 model’s 7-inch growth in length and stretched wheelbase compared to the current version. The upcoming SUV measures 210.7 inches long and 120.9 inches wide.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inside, Chevrolet’s efforts to make the SUV more competitive in the market are at play as it boasts significantly more room in important areas. The new Tahoe now features 66 percent more cargo space behind the third-row seat, which translates to 10 additional inches of legroom. The second-row seats are also adjustable by 10 inches, providing greater flexibility for the vehicle.<\/span><\/p>\n

Moreover, the widely improved interior space is also brought by the independent rear suspension, which replaces the live-axle assembly and reduces the weight by as much as 50 pounds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chevrolet is also offering the new Tahoe with three different suspension designs. The coil-spring setup comes standard, while Magnetic Ride Control shock absorbers will also be available. For better handling and over-the-road comfort, consumers are also treated to an air suspension system that comes with adjustable dampers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, the SUV is getting a completely redesigned interior. The new Tahoe can be fitted with up to five displays, including a 10-inch central touchscreen, which is also reportedly the largest in the segment. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility are also offered, while a 4G LTE powers the in-vehicle WiFi. All versions of the Tahoe can also enjoy a wireless charging pad as standard equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe will be arriving with six different trim levels: LS, LT, Z71, RST, Premier, and High Country.
