Just a little over a year since General Motors revived the Chevrolet Blazer nameplate in the form of a new mid-size crossover, the automaker is already making a few changes in the vehicle. The changes are not big, but they are important.<\/p>\n

For one, the new Blazer will get a 2.0-liter turbo-four right in between the naturally aspirated 2.5-liter unit and the 3.6-liter V6.<\/p>\n

The company is also adding a new feature that will address common customer complaints involving the Blazer’s stop-start system.<\/p>\n

The stop-start system is one of the model’s fuel-saving features, but it has received quite a number of downvotes from buyers. In an effort to solve the problem, GM is adding a defeat switch, allowing drivers to shut the system off as they wish.<\/p>\n

On top of the new engine and the stop-start switch, new color choices for the exterior of the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer will be available, as well as a black grille and a decal pack.<\/p>\n

Also boosting the performance of the crossover is the new Hitch Guidance feature that includes a Hitch View function on the vehicle’s infotainment display.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Chevrolet is introducing a Redline Edition package, which includes 20-inch alloys and a gloss black exterior trim with red accents. Customers will also get the option to have their front headrests embroidered with the Blazer insignia.<\/p>\n

Other than these updates, the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer will pretty much be the same. It will sit above the Chevy Trailblazer and in between the Chevy Equinox and Chevy Traverse.
