Chevrolet just introduced the all-new Blazer in 2019, but the automaker is wasting no time in improving the mid-size crossover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the 2020 model year, Chevrolet is adding a new 2.0-liter turbo-four engine option that will sit between the 2.5-liter unit and the 3.6-liter V6 engine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On top of the additional engine options, the crossover will be offered with more color choices, including Iridescent Pearl Tricoat, Bright Blue Metallic, and Midnight Blue Metallic, as well as a black grille option and a decal pack for a sportier look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what could be the main draw of the 2020 Blazer for customers is the estimated fuel economy figures, including those of the 2.0-liter turbo-four engine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to EPA, the 230-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder in front-wheel-drive setup is rated at 21\/28\/24 mpg city\/highway\/combined. This makes the crossover the most fuel-efficient model in the entire 2020 Blazer lineup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The all-wheel-drive, meanwhile, has an estimated 21\/27\/23 mpg city\/highway\/combined. The same EPA ratings are given by the EPA to the entry-level L trim of the Blazer, which runs on a naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque but is only offered with front-wheel-drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The RS and Premium trim, on the other hand, top the range thanks to the more powerful 3.6-liter V6 that makes 308 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. However, the higher trim levels of the Blazer yield the least amount of fuel returns with EPA rating it at 19\/26\/27 city\/highway\/combined with FWD and 18\/25\/21 city\/highway\/combined with AWD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2020 Chevrolet Blazer will be available for $29,995 for the base L trim, while the 2LT trim that carries the new turbo-four engine begins at $33,995.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
