Rumors between the two engines<\/a> that will power the 2020 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 are spreading like wildfire. The first engine suspected is the 3.8-liter naturally-aspirated flat six from the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport. This power plant produces 420 horsepower. It could be enough to propel the car from 0-60 mph in four seconds flat and reach a top speed of 185 mph. Having this engine would be a logical choice given that this is the engine in the Cayman GT4 Clubsport race car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other rumors suggest that the 718 Cayman GT4 might get a detuned version of the four-liter naturally-aspirated flat-six from the Porsche 911 GT3. This engine can max out at 550 horsepower. The 718 Cayman GT4 would still be adequately powered even if the 911 GT3 engine is detuned by 100 horsepower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
