Jeep is staying true to its reputation as the brand known for its special editions and unique trims with the arrival of yet another model for two of its most popular vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator are welcoming the addition of the High Altitude trim to their lineup for the upcoming model year. The new trim will debut at the recent 2020 Chicago Auto Show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this High Altitude, Jeep proves it can combine luxury and off-roading credentials in one vehicle as shown by the model’s features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new trim comes with an aggressive-looking dashboard, console, door panels, plus full leather interiors. It also boasts of an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation, an Alpine premium audio system with a suite of driver-assist features that include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path detection, automatic high beams, and remote keyless entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, the exteriors showcase 20-inch wheels, running boards, and body-colored hardtop, mirrors, door handles, fender flares, and bumpers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our new Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator High Altitude are in direct response to customers who continue to ask for even more luxurious materials, premium content, and technology in two of the most capable vehicles that we’ve ever offered,” Jeep’s brand leader Jim Morrison said in an FCA announcement. “We’ve taken the most capable SUV and midsize pickup on the planet and delivered a pair of truly unique vehicles, inside and out, so there’s clearly no compromise between luxury and capability.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This isn’t the first time the company is offering the High Altitude trim, though, as it was previously offered on the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Cherokee. This trim model is positioned between the Sahara and Rubicon trims in Jeep’s lineup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
