Honda is beefing up its CR-V crossover lineup for the 2020 model year with the addition of a hybrid version of the vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entry-level trim starts at $28,870, a significant $2,700 increase from the $26,170 gas-powered CR-V LX. The top-of-the-line Touring model, meanwhile, goes up to $37,070. Somewhere in the middle is the Ex trim priced at $31,380 and the EX-L trim at $33,870.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CR-V’s hybrid model is equipped with the same powertrain found in the Accord hybrid. It is powered by a naturally aspirated Atkinson-cyle 2.0-liter inline-four gasoline engine paired with two electric motors, combining for 212 horsepower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EPA has given a rating of 38 mpg combined for the CR-V’s hybrid powertrain, 2 mpg lower than its rival Toyota RAV-4 hybrid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the Honda model is not lacking in other aspects, as the CR-V comes standard with the automaker’s Real Time all-wheel-drive system, the Honda Sensing safety and driver-assist technology, automatic climate control, and automatic high-beam headlamps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also comes with badges unique to the hybrid model such as a blue Honda logo, different fog lights in front, as well as a different bumper and hidden exhaust pipe in the back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
