Chevrolet is giving the Traverse a fresh look for the 2021 model year, including a revised equipment list and updated exterior styling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the exterior, the three-row SUV is getting a reshaped front grille that gives way to a larger lower bumper area with a backed-out section at the bottom. This change gives the new Traverse a truck-like look and an extra flavor is added by the narrower headlamps with integrated turn signals, daytime running lights, and multi-element rear LED taillights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The updated SUV also now comes with four new wheel designs, although the automaker has only so far released two of the four options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interior-wise, it gets new upholstery choices and an optional 8.0-inch display in the gauge cluster. It will be equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility while also retaining the same cargo space in the outgoing model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Traverse will also be offering more standard technology features that were only offered as options in the previous years. Among the new features that will comprise Chevrolet’s fairly comprehensive standard tech package are the automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlamps, and a following-distance indicator with a forward collision alert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, adaptive cruise control is now optional on the LT, RS, and Premier trims of the model, while it remains standard on the High Country edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2021 Chevrolet Traverse is expected to arrive at dealerships by the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Official pricing has not been released, but customers are advised to anticipate a slight increase in the base price of each trim level. The 2020 model’s base trim with front-wheel-drive starts at $30,995, while the range-topping High Country trim with an all-wheel-drive is at $54,395.
