The Detroit Auto Show may have been canceled but it looks like Fiat Chrysler Automobiles still wants to give the new Ram<\/a>Rebel TRX the fanfare it deserves, albeit at a much smaller scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a report from Mopar Insiders, Ram is still planning to introduce the upcoming Rebel TRX in June. The model was initially scheduled to have its debut at the 2020 North American International Auto Show in Detroit before event organizers cancelled it to transform the venue into a field hospital for COVID-19 patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without an event to stage the model’s red carpet debut, what was Ram supposed to do?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previous reports suggest that the truck will have over 700 horsepower with an eight-speed automatic transmission .<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Apparently, FCA’s truck division is exploring the possibility of officially introducing the Rebel TRX through a small event this summer. It will reportedly have a digital livestream so fans who have been waiting for the truck could tune in wherever they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mopar Insiders, however, says it got its information from unnamed sources, so it can’t be said this is confirmed. Representatives from Ram also declined to comment on the report. But whether Ram decides to go for the livestream, the Rebel TRX is expected to be a monster model for the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previous reports suggest that the truck will have over 700 horsepower with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a “heavy-duty” four-wheel-drive system. This is significantly higher than the 575 horsepower when the Rebel TRX concept was first introduced.
