Buyers of new Ford<\/a> vehicles enjoy a free trial period of six months for the SiriusXM feature as part of the brand’s All Access radio package. But according to a report, this will be cut in half beginning 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an article published by CarsDirect, Ford dealers were given a notification that for the next model year, vehicles will only include a three-month trial for the satellite radio service instead of the usual six months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reason for the change was not made clear, but some think that it’s due to other options available for drivers to listen to the radio these days. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which are two of the most common audio features in cars, also provide quick access to popular streaming apps like Spotify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the 2021 model year, Ford is looking to welcome the arrival of the new Bronco, a smaller Bronco Sport, a refreshed F-150 pickup, and an Escape Hybrid.
