Cargo Basket - Powdercoated Textured Black, Steel, Universal, Sold Individually

Sturdy, functional and good looking
After extensively researching cargo baskets for my 2014 Toyota RAV4 XLE AWD, I decided to purchase the Go Rhino Safari Cargo Basket with the stainless. The basket allows me to fit a 15 cu' Keeper waterproof cargo bag inside it, and gives me lots of places to tie it down. It also provides a sturdy 'cage' for things like bags of dog food, file boxes, camping equipment and flats of water.
The powder coated black finish is rough to the touch, but rugged and doesn't scratch easily. (NOTE: warranty doesn't cover exposed weld points.) I found no flex in the assembled cargo basket other than the side and front (stainless).
I was able to easily attach the basket to my Toyota factory roof rack bars which are oval. Placing the basket was made easier by first measuring the distance between the attachment points and then setting the roof rack spacing as close to that as possible.
Hand tightening each of the four anchor points is all that's needed to secure the basket to the racks. No tools were needed as it came fully assembled, and thus the only help I needed was in lifting it onto the top of my car. I bought the smaller of the two rack sizes (48" I think...).
The spacing for the roof rack was 24" (distance between the middle of each bar) with the front bar at the furthest point forward. The rack does come about 1/2 way over my sunroof positioned this way. I did this to make the basket as flat as possible on the roof of the vehicle. It can be placed further back without an issue on the RAV4. I tested it with the rack as far back as possible on the roof rails and the back hatch and radio antenna both have plenty of clearance.
I am pleased with the solid build quality of this cargo basket, but there were some finish details that could have been better. The front logo (not shown on the website) on the stainless fairing was not straight on mine. I will be removing it. There was also some writing on the back of the front fairing and some rough edges on the side pieces which also bear the Go Rhino Products logo. Not bad enough to send it back, but cosmetically imperfect.
Overall this basket looks good on the vehicle and serves its intended purpose. I feel that the cargo is secure in the basket and with help it's very easy to take on and off the vehicle. Definitely worth the price for peace of mind, function and good looks.
