So if I eliminated my stock ignition switch on the steering column and removed the steering wheel lock assembly, could I then use this as a "push start" button and actually start my vehicle by pressing this button only? I am aware that some rewiring would need to be done, but would that be possible to do?Lawrence M.Oct 19, 2020
Best Answer:Hello! Yes, it's possible, however it gets really tricky if your vehicle came with an immobilizer chip in your key. What year, make, and model is your vehicle?

is this easy to install? And will I, need a new key??Aug 31, 2020
Best Answer:Hello! This is a universal part generally used for off-road vehicles. It would bypass your current ignition switch behind your key, so you wouldn't need a key unless it is to unlock your steering column. I would recommend replacing your ignition switch with an OEM replacement.
