Best Answer:Hi Sindy, I'm glad to help you out. Generally, you have to remove the door panel first and the interior door handle. Remove the plastic insulation with butyl tape seal carefully, then unbolt the door handle from the inside using a rachet. Remove the steel rod attachment and electrical socket connector. Then replace it with the new one. Still, we recommend referring to a trusted vehicle specific repair manual for accurate details about removal and replacement of the door handle. It is best also to consult your trusted local auto repair shop. I ordered replacement door handle for my car it fit perfectly as described without any issues. The only issue that I did have was the shipping time. It arrived about a week and a half later than the shipping date informed me of. Maybe it got lost during shipping I’m not sure.
