I don't understand why the engine of my Mercury Cyclone doesn't want to start when it's hot. And whenever it does, it stalls. Is it not supposed to work more easily because it's been heated up already?

Aside from the damage with the clutch disc and springs, hard shifting can also be caused by the abovementioned problems. However, if the symptoms are accompanied by slipping or grabbing, clutch simply needs adjustment with the clutch free play. And if the transmission itself is noisy or that you can't shift gears, you just have to add lubricant or drain and refill the transmission with the oil that's of correct grade.

When do I need to replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker of my Mercury Cyclone?

A blown fuse has no other solution but a replacement. Meanwhile, a tripped circuit breaker simply requires resetting. These problems are indicated by lights that no longer work, such as the headlights, taillights, turn signals, and other exterior and interior lights. They will also affect the instrument panel lamp, windshield wipers, horn, and the heater fan. But remember that blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker ultimately roots from a short circuit, so you'll have to find the affected circuit, repair it, or have it replaced.

Determining the root of a short circuit entails testing wire segments until the problem is identified. Blown fuse may have to be removed and replaced several times before you are able to find the short. With the use of a jumper wire, you can jump across a gap to test every wire segment until the newly installed fuse does not blow at all.
