That's the seal that lays over where the windshield is attached. The wiper cowl grille is the piece that goes on the passenger side between the hood and the windshield.

The parts are not long enough to fit properly. I compromised between a gap in the middle and good coverage to the door panel sides. The kit comes with some repair parts that would be hard to find otherwise. Unfortunately I didn't need parts for attaching the panels at the windshield, all those parts were in good shape and were reused. The parts that are really needed are the items that fasten the leading edge of the panels, under the hood. The passengers side is especially needed as that panel must be opened up to allow access to the cabin filter. The old panels on the car were so bad that these parts are an improvement. I will figure out a way to seal the gap that looks OK. I saved the old panels in case I want to try one of the optional repairs I've seen. Short version, they are better than what I had and winter is coming. I would recommend Carparts, delivery was fast, parts were well packaged and protected.
