Answering Common Chevrolet Venture Tail Light Assembly Problems
Problems with the tail light assembly are easy to ignore because you don't see it every time you drive. However, it really isn't a valid reason for some states' cops whose job is to place "fix it" tickets on your car or impose very stiff fines. Tail light assembly problems are actually easy to understand, and you can solve it before finding a "fix it" on your car.

Most think that the bulb socket is bound to get hot since it is near light. This is true, but there is a thing such as a "too hot" bulb socket. If the socket overheats, it can damage the contacts and loosen the spring tension in the assembly. In worse cases, the socket walls can melt and not be able to hold the bulb in place.
