I put this on my 2008 Avalanche to pull our 18 feet toy hauler camper Trailer. It definitely helped with power on the hills between New York, Kentucky and Kansas. It helped with gas mileage, reduced down shifting and made the throttle more responsive. My only complaint was during installation getting the little screws in the heat shield mount and the actual cover in place were difficult. If I hadn't had my some help to hold things in place it would have been extremely difficult.
