I was a little worried about buying a discount catalytic converter for my 2008 Ranger, but decided to give it a try based on the good reviews. It was a great decision. The new cat resolved my error code that was preventing me from passing emissions. It was fairly easy to install and nice that it came in pieces so that I didn't have to drop the crossmember to install it. I did have to cut out the old cat though. The reason I gave it only four stars is because they shipped it with the wrong gasket. I saw another review about a bad gasket as well. Luckily, I was able to reuse the old gasket with no leaks. I guess they need better quality control in the gasket area:)
