It is the radiator fan's job to keep the normal working temperature within the engine block by absorbing the heat and releasing it into the air. The temperature sensor is responsible for measuring the temperature of the cooling system and determining if the radiator fan should be switched on. As a result, the fan will move back and forth in its place, producing loud clunking noises. To prevent this dreadful thing from happening, you need to replace the broken fan clutch as soon as possible.
