Hi there,
The noise coming off your dashboard or at the back of the stereo could be anything loose. The dash needs to be checked thoroughly by removing the stereo component (with display) and a/c controls to determine the noise. It has to be done by an experienced mechanic since you need special tools to pry out the panels holding the climate control and stereo component with the display. I hope this helps.
