Hi there,
There are four main categories of repair. First is fuel delivery problems. A bad fuel filter or faulty uel pump can be the culprits here as those can cause a drop in pressure on the fuel delivery line.
The second is ignition system problems. Check if your ignition coils have gone bad or if there's something wrong with your spark plug and ignition control module.
The third is cooling problems. A bad temperature sensor, a malfunctioning thermostat, or a defective water pump can be the cause here.
And lastly.vacuum leaks. A vacuum leak can cause your truck to stall, especially at idle or after prolonged driving. It occurs because a vacuum leak can cause the air/fuel mixture to become too lean, leading to stalling.
If you've checked all these, and your ride still stalls, it might be time to endorse your vehicle to an auto repair shop for an extensive check.

It sounds like your voltage regulator is heading south. I'd check your alternator connections, and tthe.check your battery out get it load tested, clean up your block grounds and chassis ground along with battery terminal connectors, once you done that, try it out, see if your voltage flucuates if so, I'm assuming your alternator has an over heated winding, therefore when it gets hot for long periods it surges your charging system. Or just replace your alternator on hopes that solves it.
