The "rat rat" noise that suddenly came up could be one of the following reasons:
1. Incorrect installation
2. Vacuum leak.
3. A defective purge valve.
4. Or some other component that was accidentally removed from its original position.
Carefully inspect the purge valve installation and the nearby components. Some parts or wiring connectors might have been dislodged from its original position. If the issue is still there. You need to consult it with a qualified mechanic to find the problem. I hope this helps!
