I have had a new coil pack and a new spark plugs in my car still hesitates what could it be. The check engine li

I had a new coil pack and all new spark plugs installed in my Kia soul. The oil has been changed. Also, the check engine light was turned off after the repair was done. The light has not come back on. It's not throwing any codes but it's still hesitating what could it be?

What was the code stating it was for? It can even be the gas pedal, it's electronic too, no linkage or cable going to the throat body, just a wire harness clips into it after you replace it.

Hard to say with very little information, because It could be a multitude of different things, a shop usually has programs on high end scanners that read problems you've had in the past and some that don't necessarily have a sensor that initiates the CEL...but if you're doing this yourself and you've verified you have 'enough' spark then look into the other two components needed for combustion-Air and fuel!. Start with the simple stuff like the air filter, then the MAF, but only clean the mass air flow(maf) sensor with Mass Airflow cleaner!!! It could also be a problem with the secondary air pump system (smog pump if you live in California or New York)! a leak in the intake or exhaust system! Clogged fuel filter! A failing fuel pump or injector.

You may need to try better quality fuel or use a good fuel injection cleaner suck as seafoam in order to get a better pull!

Could be a throttle position sensor, or a crankshaft position sensor. Both are fairly inexpensive and usually fairly easy to replace.

Before you had any repairs done, did it hesitate? Also, did you only notice the hesitation after the Oil Change and Filter? What was the engine code first saying what was wrong?
