If your 2017 Chevy Impala is making a buzzing sound from the driver-side front wheel area when you accelerate, it’s usually tied to something in the drivetrain or a vibration under load. A common culprit is a worn CV axle or CV joint, especially if the sound changes with speed or gets worse during turns. Another possibility is a wheel bearing starting to go bad, though that typically produces more of a growl or hum. Also, check for any loose splash shields, plastic liners, or trim in the wheel well, since these can vibrate against the body when torque flexes things under acceleration. A quick inspection of the CV boot for leaks, the bearing for play, and the wheel well for loose panels should help narrow it down.
