If your 2006 Cadillac DTS with the Northstar engine has no power to the ECM fuse, it means the engine control module isn’t getting the voltage it needs to operate — which explains the no-start condition. Start by checking the ECM1 and ECM2 fuses in both the underhood and interior fuse boxes, as well as any related IGN or PCM relay that supplies them. A failed ignition relay, corroded fuse box terminal, or broken wire from the battery junction block can interrupt power to that circuit. Use a test light or multimeter to confirm power is reaching both sides of the fuse with the key on. If there’s no voltage, trace back from the fuse to the relay and battery feed to find where the break is — often it’s a corroded connector or bad ground near the fuse box or underhood wiring harness.
