P0882 means the TCM (Transmission Control Module) isn't getting enough voltage. That one problem is behind everything you're experiencing: the blown fuse, limp mode, hesitation, and check engine light. Do not keep replacing the fuse without finding the root cause first.
On the 2007 Dakota 3.7L, start with the wiring harness and TCM connector. Look for chafed, corroded, or damaged wires running to the TCM, and check the connector itself for bent pins or moisture. This is the most common culprit on Dakotas this age. Next, clean all your ground straps on the engine block and chassis, as a bad ground causing voltage drop will trigger P0882 and blow fuses repeatedly. That's often the fix on older Dodges.
If wiring and grounds check out, suspect either a faulty TCM or a shorted transmission solenoid pack drawing too much current. Have a shop do a voltage drop test on the TCM power and ground circuits before replacing any major parts. Fix the power supply issue first, and everything else should follow.
