2003 Caravan 3.3 /120,000 MLS.Transmission Symptom; Spedo is erratic/Trans Jerking / Eng Lt(ON) / P720
Hi
Van is inherited and i'm considered a reasonably good mechanic, /Bad Computer skills.
Obd2 Shows P0700>=Gen. / P0720> =Ot Pt Spd. Sensor,
ok, ...When i came to a stop I noticed the spedo twitching around and trans was Jolting??, drove 5 blocks to home,
Shifted from (D) To (R) Smoothly, Backed in to drive way.
Every thing else works fine,/Cruise Worked fine/ No longgg shifting / No Limp Mood./ No Warnings.
I checked system with Obd2 scan and after reading & watching video's it seems everyone has their own idea of what the
exact symptoms that belong to the Ot Pt Speed sensor are,Leaving me in total confusion.
So in regards to the fore mentioned...
1-Can you give me a accurate description of a Bad Trans.Ot Pt Spd Sensor (2003 Dodge Caravan(SE) W / 3.3 ???
2- If you would afford me the step's to test the sensor with my Multi-meter as well ????
I am on a fixed income and can't afford the game of process of elimination
