Can a leak in the catalytic donut gasket cause a P0420 code
Car runs and idles smooth. Found a leak in the donut gasket ahead of the cat. The converter was checked with the infrared temp sensor. Seems reading appropriate for a working cat. I would like to check for any restriction in the .exhaust. I have a 2001 Toyota Sienna with 454,000 original drive train. 3.0 liter V6. Not sure which hose to attach the pressure tester to check for change of readings when I accelerate. Again the P0420 is present
