Answer Question
I have a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox that went into low power mode and the check engine light came on immediately.
The car went into low power mode and dropped speed. It threw a code about about over pressure or something like that it might have been PO234 but I can't remember the exact code just said something about over pressure. The car only has 26,000 miles on it and it isn't making and motor or turbo noises at all even after the car went into Low Power Mode. My 3/36 warranty just expired a few months ago. Now the dealership said this might be covered under the Power Train warranty but they won't know without doing diagnostic tests on it and they want to charge me almost $1000 to run the needed diagnostics on it. I've always had the oil changed on time and had it serviced regularly so I'm not sure why this would happen: I can't afford the fees they want to charge me to diagnose it.
