Son connected both positive and negative to the positive side of a dead battery. Now the car is completely dead
GMC Denali. The positive terminal of the battery has a side harness type thing with a black wire running to it. My son mistakened this for the negative terminal and attached the positive to positive and negative to this same side. The car previously had interior lights working but that went completely dead when he tried to start it. Now hooked up correctly it will not show any power to the car?
