Answer Question
2006 ford explorer 6cyl has engine hesitation issue at 30 to 35mph, can the throttle positioning sensor cause this
My 2006 ford explorer 2006 hesitates at 30 to 35 mph. I replaced the engine airfilter and cleaned the Mass air flow sensor. One spark plug was broken so I replaced all 6. The engine continues to hesitate when the speed reaches 30 to 35 mph. When I press on the accelerator it seems to
stop but it begins again when the speed reduces back down to 30 to 35mph. Any help with what can cause this problem. I thought it might have 'something to do with the throttle positioning sensor. I would appreciate any help tying to determine this problem.
