1998 VW cabrio, auto tran. turn on the inigition key and the trans position always switches from neutral to drive
1998 vw cabrio. with the transmission set to park, when I turn on the ignition, it initially shows, neutral, and then switches to drive. if I set the transmission to 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, it shows that position and then switches to drive.. I have changed the transmission position sensor, the tcm and the park/neutral relay with no change in result.
