Answer Question
04 Mitsubishi Endeavor. Signal lights don't come on unless I move shifter back & forth.
I have a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor. The signal lights don't come on unless I move the shifter back and forth. Once on, they don't turn off when the signal arm is centered unless I move the shifter back and forth (right and left). I've replaced the signal arm; no luck. Because I thought it may have to do with the gear position lights in the instrument cluster, I replaced that too.
Occasionally, when I first start the vehicle, it works properly. Usually, within a couple of miles and a few signals, the problem starts again. One thing that I noticed is that when I signal and move the gear shifter the signals will flash for approximately 12 seconds and then stop. Moving the gear shifter will always correct the problem.
Any ideas?
Also, in your category dropdown menu, Mitsubishi is not an available choice.
