Answer Question
I replaced the radiator and external transmission cooler on a 2014 f150 5.0 4wd
2014 f150 5.0 automatic 4wd. replaced the radiator and external factory transmission cooler. After moving the truck a few times - I notices a small spot of transmission fluid under the truck coming from the bellhousing. I cleaned it up and today I moved it again... and it is now literally running out of the bellhousing. It has been suggested to me that the transmission might be over full... and the excess fluid is building up too much pressure and is seeking a way to relive the pressure. The truck only has 50k on it and shifts just fine. I'm waiting for it to cool so I can remove the dipstick and see if it relives the excess. Can this damage the seal itself?
