As above, I recently had my tires replaced on my 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer LE Lancer. As I left the shop's parking lot, one of their rubber speed bumps loosened from the pavement as I drove over it and became lodged in the undercarriage of my car. I heard crunching and scraping and not knowing if it was tire-related, tried to back up out of traffic, then stopped the car and went into the shop to report the noise. When I got out of the car I didn't see the rubber speed bump. A technician came out, looked under the car, found the speed bump (including an long bolt) underneath my car and manually dislodged it. He test drove the car to make sure there were no issues, did a cursory check and didn't see any damage. Now, two weeks following, I tried using my windshield wipers with the washer fluid and only a dribble came out so I stopped and refilled the fluid, got back in the car, tried the wipers/fluid again and nothing came out. Checked the level again and no fluid - obvious leak. Question is, could the work of having the tires replaced have somehow damaged the reservoir; or, could the mangling from the dislodged rubber speed bump caused a leak in the reservoir?
Or, is the reservoir just old and brittle?
