2007 F-150 will shift into Reverse from Park, but not when I shift up from Drive. Why?
Also, has recently started making a rumbling noise for 1 second if I accelerate using my cruise control button on steering wheel. Sounds like going over rumble strips that you find on a road before a stop sign. Is this related to the Reverse gear problem? Mileage is 196,000+. I bought used in 2013 when it had 96,000 miles. I have not changed any transmission fluids, but assume when serviced for oil changes the transmission fluid level has been checked.along with other fluid levels. Most of my travel is in south Georgia and down to central Florida, so mostly very flat highway driving, along with short drives around my small town mostly.
