I have a 1994 dodge Dakota with the 318 cc engine and I have been unable to locate the battery charge control.
It seems to be charging, but I don't have any true indication. I looked near the battery for the diode and regulator and it is not there. Any ideas? I think the battery charging diode has died, but so far, I haven't been able to find it. VERY, VERY frustrating!
